Effective hand protection means striking the perfect balance between reliable protection and a comfortable fit – only safety gloves that are worn can fulfill their purpose. uvex is continuously developing innovative fibre and coating technologies such as the patented Bamboo TwinFlex® technology to deliver both wearer requirements.
A Cut Rated or Cut Resistant Glove is a glove that meets at least the test requirements of a recognized international performance standard. The two most common are the EN388 Standard or the ANSI/ISEA 105 Standard. EN is European and ANSI is American, and both are widely accepted by industry. Both standards have different test methods, ratings and markings on the gloves. Australia accepts EN standards in regards to protective gloves, whilst ANSI is referenced for specialist applications such as needle-stick, industrial puncture or arc flash.

“I can’t praise the phynomic gloves enough. They are the best. I would buy them myself for outside of work and use them for everything, including for work at home. I really rate them.”
